Well once again Anthony surprised me. Going with an unplugged CD after the success of Up to Zero is definitely a gamble!! Here's to hoping - I'm not a big acoustic fan but hoping AG pulls it off!! Hope to ask him about it soon at the Rockland ME shows!!! Pre-order is at the end of the month so be sure to check out the on-line store!!

Looking at the song list I see ON Golden Wings-Anthony talks about how this song came from the van fire. Check out the vid on the forum to get a sneak peak!

Hey All - It's Anthony here. I see some of you are talking about the new CD. I plan on posting more on the forum and sharing details that you can't get anywhere else. Sort of the real deal inside scoop. So, here are a few words about the new disc...
Yes, an acoustic CD is certainly not what many of you might have expected. I didn't expect it either. It just came about very naturally. This past fall was a very difficult time in my life. In many ways I had to get to the heart of the matter on so many things in my world. That just resonated in the music. I put all those emotions and feelings into this album. I can say it's the deepest musical soundscape that I've created so far. It's a concept album that deals with the cycle of life. We recorded the CD at the same place where they did the 'O Brother' soundtrack and the Robert Plant/Allison Krause Raising Said disc. So, it's very earthy. The first single will be either 'Blues Is Good" or "Lady Soul". It will probably drop a few weeks before the album is released. We have a tentative April 30th release date.
Thanks for all the love and support!
AG

Been waiting years to hear Rule the World live again .. putting it out there in the universe as it is an acoustic song
With that said AG's last diversion from what people expected was not only critically acclaimed but still one of the favorites among his fans "Sweet Stringin Soul"
Really looking forward to the new CD Anthony

WFM - We are really looking forward to everyone hearing it. In many ways it's sort of a cousin to Sweet Stringin' Soul but a little bit different. A lot of gospel sounds on this one too!
