Hello Family.
This is no exaggeration. The four hour trip was pleasant, but as soon as we hit the Maine border the rain was pouring down hard. We arrived at the club and decided to go to the hotel with the hopes that the rain would stop. We check into the hotel, which is a block away from the club, and the clerk tells us that it will rain all day and night. An hour later, we arrive back at the club. AND THE SUN WAS SHINING. NO RAIN. THERE WAS A GIANT RAINBOW OVER THE ATLANTIC. THAT'S HOW WE ROLL!
And the show was off the hook, as usual. For some reason, Voodoo Moon hit me hard. Maybe I was still scared from the haunted bed and breakfast from last night. They also played "Misery For Company", one of my favorite oldies but goodies, and Anthony said he was gonna head out of Rockland with his guitar. The crowd went crazy. We almost had a mutiny on our hands. Then, he started playing unfamiliar stuff saying it was a new song but the truth is that he was just making it up. Oh, Lo's me!
It was a pleasure to meet our Street Team Superstar from Maine, Mr. Fett. It won't take 5 hugs or 10 handshakes to remember him. He passed out Street Team cards and made two giant posters to promote AG and the AG Street Team. Thank you Mr. Fett.
Me and Mr. Clark had a ball on the computer trying to get him signed up on the email list. Oh, Lo is us. And I sure hope that Karen makes the show tomorrow so I can get 4 more hugs to remember her. Otherwise, she'll have to wait 'til next year.
Tomorrow we're going over Paul B's house for lunch. He's cooking his famous pasta dinner. Paul does it right.
This is the first half of the Time Out Pub doubleheader. Stay tuned for the concluding long rambling version tomorrow. We DESERVE it.
Gotta go and meet the boys at the bar....
Over and Out!
Your Conductor,
Lothar
