Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Scott, thanks for the good idea of starting the road report off with a joke, but it ain't gonna happen. I am way way too busy and too incompetent at multi-tasking.
The night started off with 10 handshakes from Georji Girl and then the band came out smoking!! The venue was awesome - The Castle Theatre. The boys (and girls) are playing more Theaters. I snapped a picture of the stage with the video backdrop.
Soul Power - Oh yeah! Roberto's solo on Fly Away! Awesome. With 100% audience participation only 15 minutes into the set it was gonna be a good one!!! Oh yeah! Gonna Have A Party, kicked me in the booty. Then White Room. I thought it would it settle down with One Last Time... then I realized that gets really intense too!!! Oh my! Thanks to Larry for getting AG to add Tilt-A-Whirl to the set because it really kicks. Yeah, yeah, yeah! I knew you were worthy in or out of the lazy-boy! Roger looked like he was really having a lot of fun up there. Atta boy, Roger.
The girls singing in French on 'Darkest Before The Dawn' - Oh yeah!!! How do you say that in French??? Oui, oui?
The concert was a Music Is The Medicine event. It's good to be at the home base of the MITM and an honor to associated with the Cortesi Clan. Thanks Mark and Brynn. Thanks to Patrick for your help at the merch booth while I was multi-tasking. Karen, I will never forget you 'til next time.
Thanks to Nicole and all the staff for taking care of me properly. And, Chuck the soundman, had them tuned to the max!
Special thanks and honorable mention to AGB alumni and drummer extraordinaire for coming out and showing his support. He properly jogged my memories of fine times.
I gotta get going to properly prepare for tomorrow's show.
Over and Out.
Your Conductor,
Lothar
