Gary Moore was a badass. Obviously, he is paying homage to Jimi. I like when he did Cream songs with Jack Bruce that he'd pull out the SG. He was both a student and a master!

So true boss. One of the truly greats gone. Died on my Birthday.
Theres a new CD out or coming out which was recorded in 07 with Gary Moore, Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox recreating the "Band of Gypsy's" era. Smokin hot stuff. Its all over You Tube also.

Hey Anthony, that guitar is the EXACT same thing as the one I played when we played together a few years ago. Same model and everything. If you'll recall, I picked it up when you, Lang & Karns helped Julie surprise me with the Goodall acoustic. Great memories, brother.

So Bill,
Whats the story on that guitar? Did Fender issue it that way or are they one offs? Whats the pupose of the neck upside down?

Those were issued by Fender. I believe the reverse headstock is likely a nod to Jimi.

Yeah, a left handed neck is a nod to Jimi and was also popular in the 80's with rock guitar companies like Jackson and Charvel. The purpose? They look cool! Playing an entire left handed guitar as a righty does provide some interesting differences in feel and sound which can be inspiring but these are subtle differences in the grand scheme of things!
Nice to see you here Bill!
