Hello to the AG 'Family'!
Hello Rockland! Or as AG renamed it for a day, 'Bluesland'!
Now I haven't been in the real (working) world for nearly 9 years now. But I do remember Mondays being the toughest day of the week. The good people of Rockland seemed to have figured it out! Just bring in some of the best shows around & party like it's Saturday! How Cool! Paul B. you're a genius! Seeing a sold out crowd of beautiful people with huge smiles on a MONDAY is unimaginable to me!
My man Murph anticipated our arrival & replaced the pool table in the basement with a support column which prevented the walls from shuddering when the boys and the crowd were jumping in unison during the SMOKING rendition of Fly Away! Good thinking Murph! 'We Can Change The World' ( love take care of love) turned into a synchronized 'clap-fest' that was amazing! Blind Dog was back in (one of my first fave tunes) as was Love's Got The Power! Timeless classics from way back before my beginning, HA! The boys also played When The Right Woman Does You Wrong. I haven't heard that one in years!
Thanks to Paul Benjamin for bringing us back. We love the Time Out Pub and Maine audiences! Paul's better half and the First Lady of Bluesland, Jean, was at the show and representing properly. Scott was in the house sporting the new colors (shirt) , right on! 'Every show in Rockland Michelle 'was present with her big beautiful smile! Thanks Carol for bringing new sister Frannie to the Family. "Aaaaaaa...aaaaaa....Al" was with us and I had no problems remembering his name. Special thanks to Street Team Superstars Ron and Lisa. They had a big banner made promoting the new CD and hung it in the club. Hey Ron, maybe you can attach a picture of it here?
Great after-party with Murph & Amy and the meteor shower on the roof! Just another Monday in 'Bluesland'! WOW!!!
Look out Wisconsin, here we come! Now if I could just learn to like cheese!
Over and out!
Your Conductor,
Lothar
