Road To KnuckleHeads...
Before I get to the report, I'd like to let everyone know that I have changed the format of the reports. I am concentrating on more of the 'behind the scene' action. As far as the shows themselves, I really want YOU to write the reports. I think all of you can offer a unique perspective. This way, I hope you get to know each other better here and we can unite as a big family. Also, I am so busy selling merch these days, I can miss a lot. So, don't be shy. Help me out and write a report in the reviews section.
Ok, back to the report. WOW! Knuckleheads, Kansas City, the Heartland of USA, Blues Central!
Frank & Merle and company, my man Pete on the sound and stage manager Dennis making it happen for a fine cause of Merle Jam!
Presenting a knockout lineup with Anthony, Fred and Theo Blasting open the evening filled with kickass music of Sammantha Fish and Trampled Under Foot! Gorgeous day in the 70's makes for an awesome start to the summer festivity season.
Knuck's did a great job of setting the outdoor venue up to accommodate the 1200 sold out deserving crowd, and me!
I had a ball! Relaxing in the back with the bands, especially Scott Sotherland! So COOL! Thanks again to Dennis for the 'relax lubricant ' (Purple Whiskey Sack)!
Getting the summer 'hugfest' started properly with Shauna, at the show, after the after party (missed due to my relentless multitasking) and at checkout! Thanks Shauna!
And thanks Margaret for watching the store as I multi-tasked. Got my past future and now all-in-one hug from sweet Jacki! My surprise from world traveler Amy! And the fine mini-party in the unisex restroom! May we meet again Rosie, Albany and Steve Anthony and company! Hey AG, Steve Anthony is your wild singer buddy, right? Great seeing Todd in the house! And a special thanks to Larry and Karla for their help out of the elevator. My ability to get lost in confusion...ah, thanks kids!
