Let me testify my Forum Family,
I love...
San Diego, Chicago, Toronto, Hotlanta Georgia, St. Louis, and yes, I even love New York in a perverted, sadistic way! But I really, really, really loves me some Nashville! As soon as the ties that bind me in Indiana (grand kids) release me... Nashville will be my final stomping ground! Hail Yeayeayea!
Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar on Printer's Alley, Ground Zero for the Anthony Gomes Band " E X P L O S I O N "!!! Holy Hail Fire! These guys torched it! PS... I'm thinking, Could the fire and passion coming from the stage, 'specially during Blues Child and when the Right Woman Does You Wrong!...Nashville ? AG's home during his formative years? Nah, just thinking though, because it was a knockout show!!!
Funky David on the sound, having none and getting no complaints! Home to my road wife Nashville Kathy! Getting her proper 'fix' with her 3rd of four shows in a row, St. Louis, Bloomington Indiana, Nashville, and Atlanta! And I'm not jealous, it's called getting what you can while you can! You Go Girl! I must shout a HEY out to superfan Randall MaCarther, packing the front of the stage with friends & family aka 'Woonsocket Jeff'! Right On Randall!
Lovely, vibrant, superfan Sunny Baer, showering the stage with her "Sunny Shine" from the balcony! Awesome!
AGB alumni Bill Franco in Da House! Still as big and strong as ever, as he accidentally fixed my bad back with his big hug...yes! Thanks Bill!
A nice smooth load out with Printer's Alley nightlife as a back-drop, ahhhh, Home Sweet Home!!!
A short skip to the Rockin 120 Music Club in Marrietta Georgia and a warm welcome from Truitt and his band, who heated the crowd to boiling in preparation for the Hail Fire about to rain down! A big room & big sound and Samson on the board with Anthony, Fred and Theo keeping the furnace on 'Meltdown'!
The best way to describe the show are the words from Atlanta Bruce, who is new to the AGB experience. He said his Hoosier friend Jim told him to see this show, but, Jim did not WARN me about it! That's what I'm talkin 'bout!
Sweet Sister Tina was in the house celebrating her 10 th year to the day and the first song she heard AG play, Darkest Before The Dawn! What a pleasure it was for me to share those moments with her, then and now!
Nashville Kathy totally, pleasantly exhausted from her 4th scorching in a week! Rest up girl, this summer has just begun!
I must thank Rebecca, another new indoctrinate to the Family, finding the time to help me with my memory with names problem! 10 hugs! With such variety! Oh Yes Rebecca, I remember you!
Now, I must rest also, as we get ready to bring the AGB "E X P L O S I O N" to Illinois!!!
