Hello Kids!!! Welcome to the road to Moondogs and Treasure Lake!
This was a SUPER MOON weekend. It is like a FULL MOON on STEROIDS. There was a lot of that good crazy energy going on in Pennsylvania!
Let's begin with Moondogs, Yes! This place was one of my earliest road trips way in the beginning of my Anthony Gomes Adventure!
Ski-Bo on the sound, helping the Boys that are burning up the stage, to bring this intimate room near to meltdown! WOW! Anthony, Fred and Theo were merciless, taking no prisoners this time! I was unable to hold my position at the merch table!
I'd like to thank Cheryl and Bob for letting Natalie come out and party with us again! Thanks kids! Sweet Joyce was testing her recent surgery on the dance floor. Tell her doctors the operation was a total success! 'Every Show At Moondogs', Miss Anne and 'Singing Pittsburgh Don and Kali' were in the house sporting smiles all night! We had Lisa, Vince and Georgia well represented. Also, Kris and Corey came all the way from Buffalo!!
Lovely Billie keeping the liquid meds rolling as the Boys drenched the place with the" Real " Medicine! I may have overdosed as Anthony's intro to Voodoo Child, about a New Music Revolution with General Harden leading the charge, with an ' In Your Face' bass solo, had me pulling the old protest signs out of the attic! I think New York and L.A. are our first stops. I think Fred headed to New York as an advance team...I hope! 'Til then...
It's off to Du Bois Pennsylvania. As Anthony would say, "the scene of your crime Lo!" I would say, "it's Kurt's buddy Jimmy who introduced me to that Bacardi 151, Without Any Guidance! " So it was great to get back and hug and show Jimmy, I Can Survive!
What a great operation George runs up here in the mountains. His Super Assistant Patty, multitasking and hustling to keep things running smooth! My brother Cammer finding a moment in the madness to remind me that Larry's absence was unacceptable, and next time it will be HIS shoes tossed into the snow, and he will have Hot Dog at the after party! Yeah yeah yeah!
Great to see Kyle again, one hug and 20 seconds, but awesome! Thanks to Joe up front and Super Thanks to '2 shows in a row' Kali for her excellent backup at the merch tent! Anne and Cheryl also grabbed the '2 in a row' opportunity. And Lo is me, forgetting the crackers on the van! Anthony better not eat them 'cause they're MINE! We missed Ken and Gloria's escort through town this time, but had the pleasure of their hugs and company at the Fest ! Yes! My brief encounter on a gorgeous Pennsylvania night with the new 'Family' initiate ' Tara V.... Pure Gold! Welcome Tara! And a special thanks to the surprise guests in Anthony's room who had that Full Moon Fever and helped to make this such a memorable weekend.
The security team was lead by the PowerHouse Greg and Son! Yes! Safety First! Not needed though, as everyone was out for good music and good times got what it was all about. Anthony, Fred and Theo spanked the crowd properly and whopped them mercilessly at the after-jam! I finally got to hang with Rockin Rod at the after-jam! It sure don't get no better!
On our way back home we saw a flying saucer on the highway. I kid you not. A real deal flying saucer. You think they would have the technology to go faster than 50 mph on a 65 mph road. Luckily, AG was able to snap a picture and I've included here for you non believers!
Now, it's back to earth for a few days to prepare to slam the home town of 'Louie!
