Bonjour AG Family!!!
Montreal, Quebec City!
Faire Le Tour De...
Choc et Crainte! Canada!! French!!!
I am hooked! Ouah! Looks like I must learn some French. Just downloaded a French Translator, so as not to miss some of the hilarious stuff going on up here!
First stop, Sainte-Therese, a cool 'Hood' in Montreal. Anthony Gomes did with a guitar, what my Ma did with a twist of an ear! Got me into a church! Ouah! That's right! A blues show, awesome French crowd, with the musical inspiration streaming from the stage! Now THAT'S my kind of service! Thank you Brian Slack, for making it happen. And thanks to Daisy of the Blues Society for the help and translations. Sebastian on the sound, handling the acoustic challenges of a church with ease. My French friend Sylvan and I now can hold a real conversation, with music the subject, my 6 word French vocabulary, his improved dozen in English made it a breeze! Right On!
Then it's on to Quebec City. Not in a church this time, but the 'Hail Fire' rained down on the packed, appreciative, good time, French crowd! Oui, Oui, Oui! I had the pleasure of enjoying the show, front row center with Mama Gomes! Way too cool! And continuing my 18 word conversation with '2 in-a-row' Sylvan is tops! Chuck on the sound, getting it right for the deserving crowd! Thanks got to go to Greg, even with his choppy English, helping me in every way with my 'No Speak-A De French' problem! Thanks Greg!
Thanks to Mike DeWay for bringing the best music to the best people!
Once again, I'm Hooked! Look out world! Next time I be packing (translator app.) and getting it all!
PAIX! AMOUR! HAUT GUITARE!
Votre Conducteur de Blues Rock N Roll,
Lothar
