My favorite Gomes CD. I crank it up when I clean the house on Sunday after church. I am so excited to hear that he is doing another acoustic CD.

I feel kind of weird to do a whole review of a CD that's over a dozen years old so here is the quick of it!! I'm not of an acoustic/unplugged kind of a guy but after BTB I decided to give this a shot! I found this CD very raw but in a good way. No where close to BTB-probably having to do more with Anthony's song writing and production more than anything else. Some of my faves include Low Down Dirty Deal, Trouble in Our Land, and Jack Leg Preacher. I also found Wolf in My Henhouse( pt1???) very cool. Love the harmonics on the CD-kind of a Led Zep feel. Overall a nice bluesy/gospel sound that AG fans will definitely like.
