Clapton had to cancel his current European tour due to back pain. I suffered a severe spinal injury when I was employed as a paramedic by the City of New York. Had back trouble ever since, so I know what he's going through. Keep him in your prayers. He's not just a great musician, he's a philanthropist who has spread around plenty of money for the good of others!......Jerry

Clapton was my first influence when it came to picking up a guitar. Before Clapton came around I was playing drums. I heard clapton, and that all changed! I put the drum sticks down, and drove my parents nuts to buy me a strat and amp. From that point EC not only the reason that I played guitar, but what I played as well. I fell headlong into the blues, and classic blues-rock. Needless to say others came along who really blew me away, such as SRV!!! Who knows were Stevie would have wound up if it hadn't been for that tragic crash?.....Jerry

I was lucky enough to see SRV once(opening for Robert Plant) What a jaw dropping experience that was!!
